Why did Twain write “to the person sitting in darkness?”

In process: Thesis Twain and Kipling were involved in the same argument then as today. both misunderstanding Imperialism, Colonialism and not recognizing the role of monetary policy and international currency needed to trade effectively. By consistently missing the point there is no chance for a corrective action, then or today. Its easy to blame racism, and its popular in the media because its a distraction, always was, always will be.
